8 MPs at Westminster
| The DUP is the fourth largest Party within the House of Commons and as well as 9 MPs there are also three DUP members of the House of Lords. The DUP’s Parliamentary team is committed to delivering the best possible service, not just at Westminster, but in helping to build the unionist cause right across the United Kingdom.
In the current Parliamentary term DUP MPs have tabled an average of over 100 questions to Ministers, voted on over 40% of all the business which has passed through the House of Commons and tabled 5 motions. These figures stand above not only other MPs from Northern Ireland but are higher than many members from right across the country. After many years without representation in the Lords the DUP Peers are now also representing Ulster’s interest at the heart of the Parliamentary process. DUP MPs and Peers have:
